You can request permission to take this course either by mail, fax, at a bond office or in person at the scheduled arraignment hearing before the judge.

To qualify for a traffic ticket dismissal course in El Paso, Texas:

• You must request permission to take the course by the appearance date shown on the ticket, in person or by mail, and submit:
• completed copy of the Affidavit form with notarized signature
• Proof of a valid non-commercial Texas driver's license
• The court administrative fee
• A copy of your insurance policy
• A copy of your Driving Record, if required
• You must admit guilt or sign a statement that they do not contest their citation
• You may NOT have had a ticket dismissed within the previous twelve months
• You may NOT have been cited for driving 25 mph or more over the posted speed limit
• You can NOT possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• You submit the certificate of completion to the course within 90 days once permission to take the course is granted
